Seeds of species ranging from AVTS 1 to AVTS 16 have been procured from Madhya Pradesh. Here the laboratory has been divided into 16 parts and seeds of a different species have been planted in each part. It includes both white and black sesame seeds. Now scientists are continuously screening it to see how the crop is growing. This crop becomes ripe in about 75 to 80 days. It has been more than a month since this happened.
