1,166 kg of red sesame was sold at the Muthur Agricultural Market yesterday. A total of one lakh sold for 20 thousand 133 rupees. Of this, first grade red sesame was sold at Rs 115.09 per kg, second grade at Rs 92.94 per kg and an average of Rs 103.66 per kg. Seven farmers and three traders participated in yesterday's sesame auction.
