Deputy Director of Agriculture Ramlal Jat said that according to the information received from the Agriculture Department, bajra crop was sown in 1 lakh 38 thousand hectares in the district. In this, the standing millet crop in 24 thousand 500 hectares was damaged. Similarly, sesame was sown in 13 thousand hectares. In this, crop of 4 thousand 650 hectares has been damaged. District Guar was sown in the least 800 hectares and the crop of about 350 hectares was damaged. Harvested crops in the fields have been damaged. Along with this, the quality of millet will be affected and there will also be loss of fodder. The report is being sent after conducting a survey of the damage caused to the crops due to rain. The inflow of water increased in Panchna, due to the departure of monsoon, the inflow of water is happening in the dams and ponds. In the biggest Panchna dam of the district, 15 cm of water has come in two days. Due to this, the gauge of Panchna Dam reached 257.10 meters against the total filling capacity of 258.62 metres.
