Within the framework of the celebration event, local authorities recalled that San Pedro has been a large producer of sesame for some time, but before that it had to deliver its production to companies for processing, and the lack of markets limited the income of money and opportunities. of employment. Chávez emphasized that the area's producers have made great achievements, demonstrating that it is possible to improve the quality of life of families, communities, districts and even an entire department through agriculture. Finally, Chávez mentioned that cooperative and organized work is the correct path towards the progress and development of productive communities and, consequently, of Paraguay.
